Why you should NEVER follow trends....

Why is it that designers put out design trends to saturate the market? As a designer, or even a homeowner with a great eye for style- the challenge of design is to make something unique, something that solves a problem while still creating beauty. I challenge everyone to do this and never tie to a trend. If you do, you run the risk of making something trendy and not timeless. There is nothing worse than spending money only to find that in 6 months time, you are sick of your surroundings because you see it everywhere and are just plain sick of it.

Get some guidance from a designer, a magazine, pinterest, etc and then make it your own.

Your favorite color, your favorite mix of textures, your sense of self and I guarantee that you will love it forever!
